We wanted to kick-off our Wellness month with talking more in-depth of what healthy means to us. We believe that healthy starts from both the inside and out, what you put into your body often impacts your mental and emotional being. Just like the thoughts you choose to believe and where you focus your attention, can just as easily affect your body and mind.
As women, we can be overly critical of our body image and what "healthy" looks like. Often getting ourselves caught up with the thought that healthy is looking a certain way. And this is where we misstep, we are too concerned with how we LOOK and not with how we FEEL. We are so excited to introduce you to Katie Wilcox and have her share with us a few tips on being healthy but also changing the way we think!
Katie a new mom herself, is the founder of Natural Model Management and Healthy is the New Skinny, an advocate of loving the body you have BUT making sure we take care of our bodies as well! She takes a stand against the media and entertainment industry who tell us how we should look and feel, by speaking the truth to body image and embracing healthy as the new skinny!
