ARE YOUR BASKETS COMPATIBLE WITH THE SNUGGLE ME OR DOCKATOT?
Our baskets can range in size as they are hand woven and no two are the same. We recommend using our Nest Lounger, which is designed specifically to fit our baskets. If you choose to go with a different brand we recommend getting your basket first so you can take measurements to ensure a proper fit.

WHAT IF MY BASKET HAS SOME SHARP EDGES?

We offer two handle options, our genuine leather wrapped and a bare non-wrapped option for our vegan friends! It's also important to highlight the sustainability value the weavers incorporate, making sure to not let any materials go to waste, which often results in a unique and one-of-a-kind item. Baskets are chemical and fire retardant free.

ARE YOUR BASKETS FAIR TRADE?
Yes! It is very important to us, and one of the first standards we set in place when starting Plum + Sparrow, to make sure that all our baskets are a part of the Fair Trade Federation. We want to make sure that the weavers are being treated with the respect and decency they deserve but also they are being paid a fair and equal price.
WHERE ARE THE BASKETS MADE AND WHO MAKES THEM?
Our baskets are made by a talented group of weavers in villages across Africa, the group consists of both men and women who have developed this skill and art, which has been passed down through the generations of weavers. They are now passing it down to their children in hopes of creating a lasting legacy that will benefit their children!
